Blue Foundation's Close to the Knife combines raw melodies and expansive soundscapes, exploring the clash between darkness and light. With distinctive synths, psychedelic dream pop and gritty guitars, the album explores the complexity of love and loss, and the balance between holding on and letting go.

This is the band's eleventh studio album, recorded across New York, Shanghai, Copenhagen and Dalian over three years. Close to the Knife was created embracing a spontaneous, organic approach to capture something raw and genuine.
